With heavy hearts we announce Charle D. Wright, known all his life as "Dale," passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025 at Demay Living Center in Newark NY. Dale was born in Corning NY June 22,1947 to Charles Willim Wright & Dorthy Newell (Halm).

He enjoyed watching football, rooting for his favorite team, the New York Giants. He would stay up all night reading his science fiction novels. He loved music, especially Creedence Clearwater Revival, Chubby Checker, and Willie Nelson. He has always had a passion for muscle cars since he was a teenager. He often spoke of his 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible, 1974 Plymouth Duster 340, & Olds442. He loved action movies that involved fast cars, Bullitt being his all-time favorite. He preferred the bad guy" 68 Charger to Steve McQueen's 68. He also loved watching game shows like Cash Cab, Smarter than a 5th grader, Jeopardy & many more. He cherished time spent with family & friends, passing down all his knowledge. He was a quiet, reserved person but loved telling jokes.

Dale is survived by his sister, Carol Crosson (Newell) as well as his children, Helen (Randy) Jackson, Dawn (Kevin) Wright, and Dale Wright. He has 15 surviving grandkids, 31 surviving great grandkids, and several nieces & nephews.

He is pre-deceased by both his parents, his wives, Dora Wright (Moresman) & Verna Wright (Moresman). His children, Richard Huyler & Laura Masin (Huyler), his grandkids, Richard Huyler lll & Lennox Roe, his siblings, Lee Newall, Joyce Crosson (Newall), & Phillip Wright.

The family would like to thank Demay Living Center in Newark, NY. For their love and care during his time there.
