Deborah "Debbie" Boyce (Perkins), 70, died November 25, 2024. She was born the daughter of Donald and Barbara (Vagg) Perkins on September 29, 1954, in Batavia, NY.
She was a registered nurse for many years, graduating from Genesee Community College in 1989. She taught many nurses and CNAs throughout her career. Deborah was always the first to offer help to anyone who needed it.
She had a strong religious faith and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Warsaw.
She had many friends in Florida, where she lived for almost 20 years, and in New York as well.
Deborah enjoyed flowers, birdwatching, spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking for friends and family.
Deborah is survived by her children, Angela and Art Killock of Inverness FL, Laura DeGraff of Warsaw, Jonathan and Amy Lee of Castile, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is also survived by brothers, Keith (Alice) Perkins, Ken (Jan) Perkins; sisters, Darlene Carney, Diane (Bob) LaCoste, Dorothy Lingle; stepmother, Frances Dutton; stepbrother, Tim Dutton; stepsisters, Sandy Bugman, Joanne Key, and Mary Garcia; along with many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her beloved cat Pooh.
Deborah is predeceased by her parents; her biological father Dennis Dutton; grandson, Eric Mehlenbacher; brother, Dennis Dutton Jr.; sister, Sandy Carney; Dawn Freeman; and nephew Jeff Freeman.
At her request no services will be observed at this time. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the American Red Cross , an organization that Deborah was very passionate about – supporting nurses and helping people.
