Gladys passed away in the early morning of December 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her sons-in-law, David D’Alessandro and John Sampson; and granddaughter, Sarah Molnar.

Gladys is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gerald R. Jordan; daughters, Hope D’Alessandro, Sherry Burrs (Kevin Whelehan), and Laura Sampson; grandchildren, Hope Lynn D’Alessandro, Ronald Moss III, Lauren Moss, Victoria Moss, and Jordan Burrs; 8 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Paulette (Doug) Englert, Georgeanne (Hilton) Rivera, Vicki Steele, and Barbara Anderson; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She met the love of her life, Gerald, on a blind date on January 9, 1960, and they got married on July 23, 1960. Gerald and Gladys spent 50 years on Canandaigua Road in Macedon Center, NY raising their three girls. Gladys and Gerald traveled for several years, spending winters in Florida. They settled in their new home in Victor, NY.

Gladys touched the heart and soul of any person that she met. She was sweet, kind, and bubbly. When she walked into any room, everyone in the room could feel her kind heart.

Over the years, Gladys had many jobs and ended her working career after 18 years at Kodak, retiring at age 62.

There will be no calling hours per her request. A celebration of life will be planned in the future.
