John Christopher Contino, Senior Palmyra: June 23, 1946 - January 21, 2023 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our papa, John Christopher Contino, Senior, who passed after a long battle with Osteoarthritis. He is survived by his wife Cathy, children John and Cate (Jay) and grandchildren Micayla, Ella, and Jamison. Mr. C. loved people and saw the best in them. He prided himself on teaching others the tools they needed to see the best in themselves and thrived on those interactions. He had a positive and lasting influence on the many young people in his life. In the early 80s he build a home as unique as he was and lived there with his extended family until his passing. Papa loved science fiction, history, road trips in his van, camping, art, crafting scenery, haunted houses, parade floats, and creative problem solving. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 2 pm at The Contino's home in Palmyra, NY.
