John Douglas Rapp

John passed away on November 25th, 2019, at the age of 73 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born in Rochester, NY to the late John R. and Ann "Elizabeth" Rapp. John is survived by his partner of 29 years, Linda Brown; children, John, Aryn, and Kathryne; siblings, Linda Jones, Carla, and Phil Rapp. He is predeceased by his youngest child, Ian.

John is best known for when he was a local radio disc jockey in the Rochester area, where he was able to share his love for music. He then moved on to working for Teschner's Paint and Décor, to be an accomplished wallpaperer and had a talent for choosing the best paint combinations. Finally, he work for Honeoye Falls Lima School District as a custodian for many years.

John's wish was to spend eternity in his favorite place, so his ashes will be spread on Popham Beach at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to John's memory may be made to Light Hill Canandaigua Comfort Care Home.
