Michael T. McGarry

Ontario:  On Saturday, March 12, 2022, Michael T. McGarry passed away at the age of 66 years young. Michael was born to the late Thomas and Hedy "Mueller" McGarry on November 25, 1955 in Rochester, NY. Michael is predeceased by his loving partner  Sharon Perry; sisters Ellen Whitman and Kathleen McGarry. Michael (aka "Santa Claus" due to his curly white hair and stature) is survived by his siblings; sister Patricia (Frank) Mahns of Spencerport; brothers Daniel (Lynda)  and Matthew (Jody) McGarry; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and  friends. He loved big furry dogs and will also be missed by his cat "Kitty". Michael was interested in woodworking as a young man, and this hobby eventually resulted in his ownership of MTM Woodworking.  Michael was also an avid cook, and the owner/operator of  Rochester's Mad Mike's Chicken Wings on South Ave.  He will always be remembered as a loving and caring man. Michael lived by the motto: "treat everyone equally, rich or poor, young or old".

A service and celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank all those who helped Michael for their loving care.  If you wish, donations in memory of Michael, may be made to the American Diabetes Association,  or the charity of your choice.
