Bloomfield – Richard passed away on October 18, 2025 at age 88. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Esther Albert.

Richard is survived by his wife, Marjorie Albert; children, Richard, Jr. (Leslie), Brenda, and Jeffrey (Kelly); grandchildren, Devin (Jennifer), Cody (Kayla), Nicholas (Daisy), Joshua, Hannah, and Noah; great grandchildren, Kylie, Alayna, Mackenzie, Evelina, Charles, and Ryan; brother, Donald (Shirley) Albert; many nieces and nephews.

Richard grew up on a farm in Honeoye Falls, NY.  He worked for many different farms, including his family farm. Aside from farming, Richard continued his love of working the land with his many gardens.

Richard drove cattle trucks and large machinery such as dozers and backhoes. He was the head of maintenance for Enarco Machine Shop for several years. Richard was a carpenter and also ran heavy equipment for Frank Marianacchi, Inc. before starting his own business in 1979 as a general contractor.  He officially retired at the age of 72 but continued to tend his many gardens and work in his woodshop.

Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  His love for his family was evident in everything he did. He made many wood toys, ornaments, and outdoor furniture for his family and friends.
