Richard Lee Brake

Richard "Rick" Brake passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday Oct.6 2023 after a long battle with an illness. Rick was predeceased by his Parents Donald and Alta Brake, sisters Donna Eatherly and Judy Gutterson. Rick was married to his wife Karen June 23rd 1979. He graduated from VCS and went on to serve in the US Airforce. Rick worked as a machinist throughout his life at various companies. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the Buffalo Bills, camping, fishing, playing cards, bowling and watching horse races. Rick is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen [Keuer] Brake, brothers, Dale,  Sherman [Debbie], Marty [Terry] Brake. His Daughters Yvonne [Brian] Erway, Tracey [Justin] Fowler, Jennifer [Lianna] Burgos. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Furbabies, Max and Cody. There will be a celebration of life at the discretion of the family held at a later date.
