IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven Frederick
Lloyd Sr.
July 27, 1957 – February 19, 2026
Steven Frederick Lloyd Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, surrounded by the love of his family and the life he built over many years. Steve lived a full and meaningful life rooted in family, hard work, laughter, and the simple joys of the outdoors.
Steve was predeceased by his father, Theodore Lloyd; his mother, Helena Lloyd; his son, Robert Sherman; and six siblings who welcomed him with open arms.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Hildann; his children, Valarie (Michael) Clarke, Steven (Jennifer) Lloyd, and Liz (JT) Andreassi; and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Christian, Tre, Izabella, Mason, Garrett, Joel, James, and Kannon, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by eight siblings, along with many extended family members and friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.
Steve dedicated 30 years of his life working as a mechanic for the Canandaigua City School District before retiring. He was a man who truly appreciated life’s simple pleasures. He loved being outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, farming, or riding four-wheelers—and he found happiness in the land and the quiet moments it brought him.
One of Steve’s greatest joys was gathering his family together for Sunday dinners that he proudly cooked himself. Those meals were more than food; they were moments of laughter, stories, and love that brought everyone together. Steve had a quick wit and a gift for one-liners that could make people laugh even on difficult days. His humor, warmth, and the way he made people feel will be remembered just as much as the life he lived.
Steve’s legacy lives on through the family he loved deeply and the memories that will continue to be shared around dinner tables for years to come.
