Diana Lupton

Shortsville - Age 78, died peacefully on October 7, 2023, at The Serenity House in Victor, NY after succumbing to her 8th battle with cancer. She was born on August 21, 1945, in West Lafayette, Indiana to H. Maurice Lupton and Twyla (Bell) Lupton. 

Diana was a 1963 graduate of Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana. She also earned a Business degree from Cranford College in Kansas in 1994.

She worked at Ogden & Sullivan, P.A. for more than 25 years before moving to the Upstate New York area of Shortsville to enjoy her retirement. She had visited the area many times and enjoyed the seasonal changes in the weather, with the changing of the fall leaves as her favorite.

Diana gave of herself to her community in many ways. She volunteered her time as a child advocate with the Guardian Ad Litem office. She crocheted many sleeping mats that were given to the homeless in the Tampa Bay area. She also provided respite care for family members caring for their loved ones under hospice care. Her love of cats was well-known; her colorful scarves were a favorite accessory to many outfits; and her ever-present kindness was frequently shown by bringing delicious treats of baked goods to share with others. She was described by many as a ray of sunshine; her cheerful demeanor brought a smile to those around her.

Diana is survived by daughters Kerri (Gilbert Hall) Allen and Kathy Walker, and a son, Ross (Louanne) Allen; granddaughters, Allie Entel, Chelsey (William) Hartwell, Lindsey Allen, and Misty Hall; and grandsons, Paul Pavliscsak and Luke Walker; great-granddaughters, Ava Entel, Autumn Pavliscsak, and Amelia Hartwell. She is survived by a brother, Kirby (Donna) Lupton, predeceased by brother, Mark (Jill) Lupton, and a sister, Jana (Joe) Schwartz. She has a large extended family with many cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends from near and far.

As a long-time member of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, a Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on November 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church in Tampa, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Serenity House in Victor, New York, the Comfort Care home that took such good care of her during the last months of her life.
