Dorothy M. (May) Harrison

Dorothy "Dottie" M. Harrison, 90, of Honeoye, New York, passed away on November 13, 2023.  Dottie was born in Rochester, NY, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Adolph May.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Dottie was a kind and loving person, known for her creativity and artistic talents. She was a gifted artist who found her passion for painting, knitting, crocheting, and jewelry making during her retirement years.  Dottie's warm and caring nature touched the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.  

In her career, Dottie was a self-employed candle maker and owned “The Flame" in Bloomfield, NY.  Her candles brought joy and warmth to many homes throughout the community. 

Dottie is survived by her sons Kevin (Cindi) and Scott; daughters, DeNise (Trace) Tina (Mark) and Markie (Marty); grandchildren David, Lauren, Alyssa, Nikki, Trevor, Sean, Devon, and Dillon as well as two great grandchildren Amelia and Casey.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robin.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family to honor and celebrate Dottie's life.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center.
