Obituary

Marcia Elaine Divelbliss

Sodus – Marcia passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

Predeceased by her mother and father, Robert and Jennie Spencer; sister, Rebecca St. James; and nephew, David Sigl.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Shanton) Faniel; granddaughters, Ebony Rose, Kymberly Ann, and Alyssa Monique Robinson; grandsons, Robert Lee Bell Jr and Shanton Lamont Faniel II. Gigi to a very special great granddaughter, Scarlett Rose Burgess.

Marcia is also survived by her sister, Roberta Bonnell; brother, Glenn (Marcia) Spencer; nephews, Rob Sigl, Michael (Erin) Emmel; and nieces, Stephanie Spencer and Carolyn (Joe) Fahey.

Marica worked for Newark Finger Lakes DDSO for over 30 years as a supervisor in the homes. She dedicated her life to caring for the developmentally disabled. Marcia took pride in being a lifelong member of the Lyons VFW and was also active in the Lyons America Legion and the Lyons Rod and Gun Club. Marica belonged to many bowling leagues throughout her life. No matter where Marcia went, she was well liked and made many friends. Marcia always kept an overflowing garden and many bird feeders. She was an avid camper and continued this passion in her last few days. If you know Marcia, you know she was fond of her Genny Light.  In memory of Marcia do not hesitate to take a drink in her memory! As per Marcia’s request there are no services.
